Our Offerings

Embodied Private Practice Cohort
facilitated by A. Onyx Fujii, LCSW

& Asher Pandjiris, LCSW
Now enrolling to begin April 2025

The Embodied Private Practice Cohort is a year-long mentorship offering for therapists and aligned care workers who are beginning or revisioning private practice with a focus on embodiment and sustainability. Combining reality-based, capacity-conscious practice and business consultation, mentorship will focus on the ways that providers can be nurtured by their practices, avoid burnout, and commit to sustainability, self care and healing. This program values the wholeness of all mental health-focused care workers and centers the unique experiences and challenges of those with lived experience of chronic illness, disability, mental illness, trauma, and oppression; with expansive thinking about and active undoing of the harm caused by the well provider/unwell patient binary expectation in mental health and wellness fields.

Weekend Intensive: Mending With Gold

Join KTC’s co-directors for a virtual weekend intensive with a concentrated and highly personalized curriculum designed to support care workers*. We hope to challenge the unrealistic expectations of the care work industrial complex, nurture pathways for reconnecting with pleasure and develop enlivening professional practices/strategies.

*This program is designed to support therapists, somatic practitioners, and other aligned healthcare practitioners.

The group will meet monthly to explore the cases, dilemmas, and growth edges of its participants; with a focus on sustainability, embodiment, and liberation. This offering is intended to create a safer and softer space for BIPOC care workers to connect, build community, offer and receive support; giving voice to our valuable perspectives and experiences, as well as the wisdom of our ancestors. This group will also acknowledge and work to undo, through expansive thinking and action, the harm caused by white supremacy in mental health and wellness fields, in our own lives and in the lives of our clients.

Fertility, Queerness and Care Work is a peer support process group for any mental health care worker involved in a (in)fertility process: as a donor, a gestational or non-gestational parent, a person inducing lactation — any of the ways we involve our body minds in the processes of reproduction and cross-generational care WHILE trying to conceive (TTC), pregnancy or postpartum — who wants to ground in a rich understanding of how reproductive processes intensify our complex relationships to care work, both personal and professional.

Off the Record:
a BIPOC Consultation Group for therapists of color  transitioning to private practice

facilitated by Cyn Magaña, LCSW
Now enrolling

“Off The Record” is a BIPOC consultation group for licensed therapists seeking to transition to private practice whose purpose is to support newly independently licensed therapists in their journey towards pursuing private practice by fostering a community that values creativity, authenticity, and professional growth. In this space we go, “Off The Record” sharing our unique perspective and undoing misaligned values we often encounter in systems that have caused ideological, institutional, interpersonal and internalized oppression. We offer a collaborative space to delve into the “why” behind your transition, embody your accomplishments and your unique approach, and envision the possibilities of starting your practice while staying true to yourself and values. We do this through experiential discussion, skill building and leaning on our community. This is how we support and heal our community as we strive towards libertory care work.

Consultation & Collaboration

Asher, Onyx, and some of KTC’s members are available for speaking engagements, organizational training, as well as individual and institutional consulting.
