Avigail Hurvitz-Prinz, LCSW, is a licensed psychotherapist practicing in Pennsylvania and New York. She holds a Masters degree from Smith College School for Social Work where she was trained in psychodynamic, trauma-focused, and feminist approaches to clinical work with adults. Avigail has advanced training in relational psychotherapy from the Mitchell Center for Relational Studies and sex therapy. Much of her work involves the treatment of trauma, loss, grief, depression, anxiety and relationship issues. Avigail specializes in working with “sexual minorities”: LGBTQ+, kinky, ethically non-monogamous and polyamorous people as well as sex workers. Within the busyness of life, Avigail strives to create a sanctuary and refuge for deep and thoughtful reflection, directed by curiosity and learning together.
