As a queer and neurodivergent immigrant from the Philippines, I focus on upholding the principles of liberation psychology, authenticity, and decolonization, especially through offering equitable and accessible therapeutic services for clients experiencing mental health concerns and systemic harm, in addition to organizing with local groups and engaging in community work. As a therapist, I have worked in public and private settings such as group practices, community mental health centers, and "correctional" settings. I have experience in supporting clients through self-harm, parenting concerns, suicidality, substance use concerns, depression, anxiety, trauma, people-pleasing, cultural concerns, relationship difficulties, and ADHD. I utilize eclectic modalities to achieve your goals and have received intensive training in DBT, DBT-PE, Motivational Interviewing, person-centered therapy, couples therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Experiential Therapy. I also hold an anti-carceral and neurodivergence-affirming approach to mental health concerns.
