Hello, I’m Lauren. I am a white, cis, Polish-American, disabled woman living in Massachusetts. I work primarily with neurodiverse individuals and people living in a chronically ill body. I’m passionate about helping people connect with their body and discover ways to honor their authentic selves. Together we unpack the ways in which systemic trauma has informed how they move through the world. I have found that utilizing my own experience of being in a wheelchair and living in an able-bodied world has enriched the therapeutic process by allowing me to show up authentically. I am drawn to somatic therapy interventions and am currently receiving training in sensorimotor psychotherapy. I believe in the power of community in relation to healing and well-being. This has led me to work on the cultural council for my town and utilize the arts to create empowering connections.
