they/them
I am black, queer, and trans, but I present as a black cis-male which comes with adversities and privileges as I navigate this world. Nevertheless, I decided to join the Kintsugi Therapist Collective to be in community with other therapists who were focused on building community. Prior to working in a solo private practice, I have worked in a non-profit and a group practice providing therapy to those within the BIPOC and LGBTQ community.
I strive to collaborate with clients in providing psychotherapy where client’s feel safe, heard, and free to express themselves without judgment. I can be particularly helpful in helping others develop more self-acceptance, more insight, and teach you different tools to support your mental health and well-being. Additionally, I am trained in Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, CBT, and couples/relationship therapy for couples and polycules. My approach focuses on collaboration with clients to help them find what works best for you.
My specialties include but are not limited to supporting those experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief/loss, chronic pain, racial trauma, complex PTSD, relational/family stress, life transition, body image issues, relationship issues.
