Meet Johana
Johana Marmolejo Mora
she/ella/they
My name is Johana Marmolejo Mora (she/ella/they), a queer Latina immigrant cis-woman residing in the traditional land of the Maidu, Miwok, and Nisenan people.
As an ICF-certified coach, with certifications in ACT, CBT, and Integrative Somatics Parts Work, supporting transitional-aged youth, women, LGBTQ+ individuals, immigrants, and BIPOC communities for over a decade. My approach is also shaped by my journey of struggle and the deep work I have done around belonging, identity, and self-acceptance. These experiences have cultivated my empathy and commitment to supporting others in their growth and healing.
As Lama Rod Owens said, “There’s no liberation without actually leaning forward and looking at the things that we habitually run away from, in order to see things as they really are, not as we have imagined them.” This quote deeply resonates with my mission to help clients connect with their highest Self to better understand and compassionately engage with the inner parts we often avoid—those shaped by life’s challenges. By strengthening this connection, I support clients in healing and integrating mind and body, cultivating a deeper sense of wholeness and self-compassion.
Stepping into community, vulnerability, and support is why joining Kintsugi Therapy Collective is so important. I look forward to being part of a community of practitioners who value caring for ourselves, sharing where we are stuck and need support, and celebrating our wins together. This community of vulnerability and support often fosters connection and allows me to witness the humanity in all of us, deepening and expanding my compassion for both others and myself.
