Meet Anna

Anna Siembor, LICSW (MA)

they/them

Hello! My name is Anna Siembor. I am a white, queer, nonbinary Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker based in Western Massachusetts.

I work with queer and transgender young adults and adults in my practice. My work focuses at the intersections of identity work (particularly the challenges of embodying a new identity) and healing from attachment trauma/trauma experienced in childhood. My approach to therapy is warm, boundaried, humorous, and deeply empathetic. I am trained in EMDR and DBT, and utilize elements from both in my practice. Primarily, I am a relational therapist, meaning I believe the relationship between therapist and client is paramount. Together, we work to build a relationship that acts as both a safe haven and a secure base as we tackle challenging or scary topics.

I also work with fat people looking to find neutrality with their bodies using a fat liberation lens, as well as folks looking for a harm-reduction approach to substance use and other so-called “risky” behaviors.
